Schedule = see BSG Calendar
Duplicate bridge is the most competitive form of bridge. But the most interesting!
Half the players sit North/South and remain, and the others sit East/West and move. The cards are pre-shuffled and 13 cards are put in each of the 4 pockets on the “ boards “ marked North, South, East and West. The boards are now distributed, normally 3 boards on each table with a score sheet ( ie.a traveler ) placed in each North pocket.
After each board is played the player sitting North enters the score on a traveler and replaces it, folded, in the North pocket. When all 3 boards have been completed they are moved to the next higher table and the East/West players move to the next lower table. The number of rounds played depends on the number of entries.
At the end of the game the director collects all the travelers which are then match pointed ( or scored ) manually or on the computer. The computer will have already been set up before the game started with type of game, number of rounds , players names etc.
