September Computer Club Meeting

We are back after the Ballantrae Summer Games break, and ready to get together for our next meeting to be held next Tuesday Sept 17 at the Rec Centre from 7:30PM until 9:00PM. Planned topics include:

1. Apple announced its usual bevy of exciting new products on Sept 10, including 3 new iPhones, a great new iPad and the next version of its popular Apple Watch. This session will review the highlights of these new products and their prices in Canada. Warning: Don’t buy an older model of an iPad until you have seen the details of this new one!

2. If you had the opportunity to read Brian’s article in the last issue of the Home On The Green magazine, you likely learned why so many of us are disappointed in the quality and intelligibility of the sound coming from today’s flat screen TVs. Come join us as Brian will elaborate further on this while demonstrating the range of options available for improving your overall television viewing – or, rather, listening – experience. Be sure to bring all of your questions!

Grab your friend or partner and join us next Tuesday evening. The Computer Club is open to all BGCC residents and their friends …. no membership is required and the sessions are provided at no charge. Just show up and meet some new people.
